Red Rose Festival
LANCASTER, SC — The City of Lancaster invites folks to enjoy the Red Rose Festival on May 17-18, 2013. The Red Rose Festival has become quite a popular weekend of great music and fun, featuring a birthday bash for the city’s mascot, Rosie the rabbit!
Set your calendars to join us on Catawba Street and in the City Hall parking lot where playing in our streets has never been more fun.
Stretch out in the warm Piedmont sun and enjoy the cool sounds of local and national entertainment on the City Stage. 
Artisans and crafters will be on hand selling collectibles, hand-crafted items such as art, jewelry, children’s clothing and crafts. Kids of all ages will enjoy the Kids Zone where they can scale the rock-climbing wall, slide down an 18-foot slide, bounce around, and relax on the carousel. Food vendors will tempt your taste buds with delicious funnel cakes, hot dogs, barbeque, and fun southern food.
