Celebrating the 30th Year for this Wonderful Family Festival
YORK — It's been 30 years in the making, and the annual summer event in York, South Carolina is only getting better. Summerfest, the annual festival celebrating the end of summer in beautiful, historic downtown York, will once again stand out as one of the most exciting and notable events in South Carolina.
The one-day festival, held this year on Saturday, August 24, 2013 will attract thousands of local, regional, and out-of-state visitors, arriving to take in all the wonderful events Summerfest has been known to offer.
Events will include the 10K, 5K and FunRun, a classic car show, the craft and food fair, children's activities, robotics demonstrations, a golf tournament, musical entertainment, Healthy Hometown, the Texaco Country Showdown, and much, much more. Summerfest kicks off with a concert at Downtown Live the evening prior to Summerfest. Another music concert will be held the evening of Summerfest concluding York's spectacular event.
