South Carolina Strawberry Festival
FORT MILL, SC — Established in 2010, the South Carolina Strawberry Festival was honored as South Carolina's 2012 Event of the Year. The event had more than 50,000 individuals attend from throughout the region and state.
The 2013 South Carolina Strawberry Festival is Fort Mill's annual kick off to spring and will be held this year on May 3-4, 2013. “Strawberry Week,” the week leading up to the festival, includes festival-related events such as a golf tournament, Pick-n-Flick, and the Strawberry Festival Pageant.
Many exciting activities are planned for the South Carolina Strawberry Festival and include a Kids Zone with rides and activities, live entertainment at the Strawberry Jam, recipe contests, strawberry shortcake and ice cream eating contests, pig races, a petting zoo, food from local and regional vendors, arts and crafts and a car show. The festival will end on Saturday night with an amazing fireworks display!
Conveniently located 15 miles south of Charlotte and an hour north of Columbia, the South Carolina Strawberry Festival is a regional celebration of all things strawberry!
