Fall Festival offers an Abundance of Oysters and Fun!

This exciting event is held to promote the seafood industry and mark the arrival of the oyster season. One will delight in sampling local oysters prepared every way imaginable - on the half-shell, steamed, single-fried, and fritters. Steamed crabs, clam fritters, clam chowder, hush puppies, cold salads and much more will round out the menu.
Live music will be performed by Island Boy Band and the “Best Place/Space Award” is always a favorite. An Extravaganza of prizes redeemable at next year's festival will be awarded to one lucky person at 4pm. Raffle tickets can only be purchased the day of the festival!
The Chincoteague Island Oyster Festival will take place at Tom's Cove Park, 8128 Beebe Road, Chincoteague, VA. Food is served from noon until 4pm and the festival is held rain or shine.
