Plumb Alley Day

ABINGDON, VA — The Kiwanis Club of Abingdon will once again present Historic Plumb Alley Day on May 25, 2013. The traditional Plumb Alley Day is rated as one of the largest one-day events in this Southeast, running from 9am to 3pm.

In the heart of the town’s historic district, Plumb Alley is the shaded picturesque alley that runs between Main and Valley Streets. The Day begins with a salute to veterans and the raising of the American flag at 9am.

The event features yard sales, food, music, a dance performance and children’s activities. In addition, over 160 vendors will sell pottery, art, photographs, crafts, jewelry, antiques, and innumerable other items. Plumb Alley Day has expanded to include Court Street, which will now offer even more activities for kids. Don't miss Zappo the Clown making free balloon critters plus exciting and fun inflatables! Enjoy many forms of entertainment throughout the day and donate a dollar on your way in!
