Chincoteague Seafood Festival

Chincoteague Seafood Festival Offers Traditional Eastern Shore Cuisine

The Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the history and traditions of the seafood industry on Virginia’s Eastern Shore on May 6, 2017 with the 49th Annual Chincoteague Seafood Festival. Festivities will take place at the waterfront Tom’s Cove Park, 8128 Beebe Road, Chincoteague, from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Enjoy fresh, local seafood with exciting offerings and signature dishes from local restaurants; as well as old and new Eastern Shore favorites prepared by famous festival cooks, volunteers, and professionals. Little neck clams, a long-time festival staple, will be available along with fish, clams, and oysters prepared in a variety of ways. A few land-lubber menu items will also be available. Beer will be available for purchase. Browse the artisans’ tent for beautiful, hand-made, one-of-a-kind items and visit each of our hospitality vendors to see their new products! Live entertainment will fill the air with music for your listening and dancing enjoyment. Purchase tickets early as this is normally a sell-out event.
