Taste of Brunswick Festival

For the past twenty-one years the Taste of Brunswick Festival has been growing and progressing until we now have approximately 10,000 attendees from across the state as well as many from other states. We provide a day full of entertainment for the entire family. We have train rides, bouncy games, a petting zoo, pony rides, a corn box and more for the children. We have a variety of singers for the music lovers, Civil War re-enactors, stagecoach rides, a large car show, antique tractors. We have many vendors and lots of food. We have many booths that are free to civic and non- profit organizations.

One of the biggest draws to our festival is the Brunswick stew cook-off. For the past two years we have had twenty-five stew crews there for the competition, who all total cooked and sold approximately 4200 quarts of stew. We will give $2000 in prize money this year.  Brunswick County is where the first Brunswick stew was ever cooked.

This year the festival will be held on October 14th from 10 A.M. until 4 P.M.There is no charge to come and enjoy the day. Parking is free as well as entry into the event. We strive to make it a family day for the entire family!
